Sheena’s Platinum Movements is a non-competitive dance studio that embraces the individuality of each dancer. The dancer comes first. Our studio:
Nurtures the talents and skills of each dancer through age appropriate music and quality dance education.
Empowers each dancer, as we lift one another up and celebrate the beauty of diversity.
Provides a loving atmosphere where every dancer can learn, be confident and above all... have FUN!
Youth protection advocates in dance (YPAD)
Sheena's Platinum Movements is a Certified YPAD (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance) Member and we follow those values and principles.
- We believe education leads to self-regulation.
- We stand united in the position that no trophy, accolade, fame, viral social media status, or financial gain will take precedence over the protection and well-being of our youth.
- Our top priority is the emotional, physical and sexual safety of each dancer.
- We stand united to stop all exploitation and commodification of youth in performing arts.

- We strive to be “learn-it-alls” not “know-it-alls” as the benefactors of our continual learning are the children we have dedicated our lives to serve.

We stand for inclusion and kindness and celebrate the unique differences of our students and dance families. The goal here is improvement and empowerment through education and advocacy.
